Privacy policy

QFLOO("we", "us", "our") operates the qfloo.com website and the QFLOOweb application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Account data. When you register, we collect your email address and, if you choose Google sign-in, the profile information Google provides (name, email, profile picture).
Workspace data. Content you create inside the Service — competitor profiles, enrichment results, action items, and other workspace data.
Payment data. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Cashfree Payments. We do not store your card number or bank details on our servers.
Usage & technical data. IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken within the Service. We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies for tracking.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and workspaces
- Process subscriptions and billing
- Generate AI-powered competitor intelligence using third-party AI providers (see Section 4)
- Send transactional emails (password resets, invoices, invitations)
- Improve, secure, and maintain the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Sign in with Google
When you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your account identifier, email, and name with us. We use this solely to create and secure your account. We do not use Google sign-in data for advertising or to train AI models. Google's handling of your information is described in Google's Privacy Policy.
4. AI processing
The Service sends workspace data (such as competitor names and URLs) to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to generate intelligence reports. This data is sent via API and is not used by the provider to train their models. We do not send your personal account credentials or payment information to AI providers.
5. Data sharing & service providers
We may share data with:
- Cashfree Payments — payment processing
- Google — when you use Google sign-in
- OpenAI — AI-powered competitor intelligence generation
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, email delivery (SES), and infrastructure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and workspace content within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. usage statistics) may be retained indefinitely.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page, or contact us for assistance. If you are in the EEA/UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage required for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
